TREES

I shaved off the old hood bolts for the stock headlight. It turned out pretty sweet. Not sure if I'm going to polish them or leave them like they are. Leaning more towards the polished look.

 
 

BIKE OF THE DAY

This bike was built by Brandon Holstein of Brawny. This was his first rigid sporty he built and probably one of the best looking sporty's out there. Hopefully mine will look this good. He makes some awesome bikes.

Fox Sports on the Royals:
The notion: The Royals have a shot
Reality: For the first time in years, they do. By their standards, the Royals have had an active winter, and that's led some to speculate that they have a puncher's chance in the middling yet balanced AL Central. They've got some impressive young talent on the roster -- Zack Greinke, Joakim Soria, Alex Gordon (a breakout candidate for 2009), Billy Butler, Mike Aviles, Luke Hochevar (on a good day) -- and there's no truly great team blocking the way in the Central. This is not a team that would contend in most divisions --the back of the rotation is suspect, and there are far too many first base/DH types on the roster -- but the Royals have a shot. The Indians and Twins enter the season as the likely favorites, but KC is legitimately in the conversation.

 

MORE TANK

Updates of the narrowed tank. Pretty much ready for some welding. I took out about an inch up top and around 2" down below. This is gonna look sick. I'm way stoked.


 

PROGRESS

I grinded and sanded down the stock controls cuz I'm no longer using the housing and I started chopping the tank. I'm gonna take out about 1 1/2 to 2 inches from the center and move the filler up a little. I might do a fuel sight guage, but haven't made up my mind yet. I really don't want to, but it'll help. We'll see.

ABOUT TIME!

About time I post something. More important, about time the Chiefs get some good players. I'm really excited about Cassel getting traded and we also got Vrabel. These are the guys to take the game up a notch. This could be our year. Also keep an eye out, more pics of the bike progress coming soon.
