WRONG! It snowed.

Here's the Weather channels forecast for today, May 25th: High 42 degrees. Scattered showers.

WRONG! It's about 65 degrees outside and not a cloud in sight.

Well, the Weather channel app's been deleted off of my phone.

MOTO MONDAY MAY RECAP

30 bikes came out last night for Moto Monday. We ended up switching locations last minute to this little new thai curry place. It was actually pretty good, and cheap too! Afterwards we all went on a little cruise. I kinda felt like we were in Mad Max or something. These guys are the craziest bunch of riders I've ever ridden beside. I think we made the Hell's Angels look like a bunch of sissies. I remember splitting lanes and passing cars downtown doing about 75 in a 20. At stop lights bikes were doing burnouts, revving engines, and on top of that most were yelling and hollering. Everyone in their cars were rolling up the windows and locking their doors. On the 4th south corner heading up to the U, everyone I saw, including me, were dragging pipes or pegs. Coming down 21st I saw at least 3 guys standing up on the tanks surfing. I'm actually surprised no one went down. We gotta do this more often. Too much fun!

 

NEW TOY

I was driving by the pawn shop the other day and out of the corner of my eye I noticed this 24" Redline BMX bike. I used to ride BMX growing up so I thought I'd stop in to check it out. The date on the sticker showed it had been sitting there for about two years, and they wanted $140 for it. Didn't think it was a good deal cause they had it for so long. I did a little research today and found out it's a 2008 Redline Proline 24. This bike was $510 new! Not to mention it weighs only 26 lbs. stock. So... I went back to see if I could talk them down a little. Ended up taking it home for 70 bones! SCORE! Cleaned it up a bit, and now the thing looks mint! Probably been ridden only a handful of times. I'm gonna get hurt on this thing, but probably worth it.

 

MAY MOTO MONDAY

3 Posts a month! I am such a slacker! There's really nothing much to post though. The boys saved up their dough and we bought the PS3, so lately all my spare time has been playing Modern Warfare. Besides, the weather has been so crappy too! It's been snowing the last few days. Kinda bummed Brighton is closed already. Anyways, can't wait for this Monday! Supposed to be 65 degrees and there's talk of a good ole ride after pizza. Woohoo! Let's get it on!
