YOKOHAMA CUSTOM ROD SHOW

I was browsing some pics of the Yokohama show when I came across this beauty. I'm not even sure what it is. At first I thought it was an old Harley frame with a bolt-on hard tail, but the neck and motor look like they're from a Yamaha SR. The rear section though looks American. Whatever it is, it's definately one of the coolest bikes I've seen in a while.

WHEEL COVERS

I have really been diggin' these rear wheel covers lately. Front street makes a really cool one(two down on the honda gorilla punch) I might just have to purchase in the near future. I remember when I was a kid I always wanted to get them for my bmx.

MOTO MONDAY - RECAP

Well... it took us awhile, but we made it down. It was snowing, bikes wouldn't start, and the temp was about 20 degrees. It was really alot warmer than I expected. There were about 6 or 7 bikes that made it. I bundled up so I really wasn't that cold, but... no matter how thick your wool socks are, vans just don't cut it. It took me awhile to get feeling back in my toes. Other than that, I can't complain. It was a blast! Mark it on your calendars, every first Monday of the month. I gotta get that old Suzuki 125 enduro running soon. I have a feeling next one we'll be riding on snow.

LOVE THESE OLD KZ'S

Wrenchmonkees and I think I pulled the gold one off of Church of choppers.

MOTO MONDAY

It's 23 degrees outside right now and I'm sure it'll drop another 10 by nightfall, but I'll be there. If you're in SLC and you gotta bike, you should try and make it down. Should be pretty fun.

KAWASAKI ZRX

First of all, sorry for the lack of posts. My bike is still down and I've had my mind on other things. Anyways, my brother Jeremy has been working on a ZRX and here is a shot of the new paint job. He's going for more of a cafe look. We'll see how it comes out. In the meantime, enjoy another pic of how sweet these machines are.

SUSPECT

I managed to track down some decent photos of my pops' new bike. Built by G&L choppers out of Colorado Springs. These guys do some really good work. I came up with a logo for it, but it had already gone to paint. Even without the logo the bike looks awesome.

ENGINE STUD SNAPPED

My Engine stud that holds on my exhaust snapped off while riding last night. Tried an EZ out bit and snapped that off. Any suggestions on what's next? Would it be easiest to just replace that front cylinder head? Or drill it out? Either way I have to take off the cylinder. I'm pissed.

GERARD BUTLERS ESCAPE TRUCK IN 'THE GAMER'

I want this truck. It should've been in Mad Max or something. Instead, it was in the retarded show 'The Gamer'. It definately made the movie better. Basically its a chopped up 73 chevy c20. For sale right now on ebay. Starting bid is 11k.

THE GREASE RATT

Some sick shots of Big T's bike from the Sturgis trip.

NEW BLOGS

I added a couple new blogs to the list. Wrecked metals is a cool old rod blog out of Boise. He has some crazy awesome fabs. HWZN bross is a japanese blog with some cool old school choppers. Also stoked to get the Beez's bike running last night. That thing is freaking sick! Hopefully he'll be able to ride out to the vintage races with us tommorrow.

New Bike Pics

Here are a few shots I took of the bike. I'd still like to do a chain conversion and paint the tins. I'm contemplating narrowing the bars another 2 inches too. They're comfortable now, but fashion before function right? Anyways, I'm really stoked how everything turned out.
